Lando Calrissian

A native of Socorro, Lando made his living through gambling, deals, and shipping on the edge of the law. He owned the Millennium Falcon, which he had won at sabacc, but later lost the ship to Han Solo, which shaped their relationship for a long time.

He later ran the mining settlement of Cloud City on Bespin, where tibanna was extracted. Under pressure from Darth Vader, who had arrived there, he handed his guests over to the Imperials, but when he saw that the terms of the deal were being violated, he helped Leia Organa and Chewbacca escape and joined the Alliance himself.

He took part in freeing Han Solo on Tatooine, received the rank of general, and led the fleet against the second Death Star, piloting the Falcon in the battle over Endor. Many years later he returned from seclusion on Pasaana to bring reinforcements to the battle of Exegol.
