Darth Vader

He became the chief enforcer of the new order after the events on Mustafar: his severe burns and injuries required a permanent life-support suit of armor with a breathing system. He received the name Darth Vader from the Emperor and took up the hunting down and destruction of the surviving Jedi.

He commanded Imperial forces in the search for the rebel base, personally led the pursuit of the Millennium Falcon, and set up a trap on Bespin, where he revealed to Luke Skywalker that Luke was his son. He wielded telekinesis, used Force choking, and carried a red lightsaber.

On the second Death Star, he brought his son to the Emperor, but, seeing him tortured with lightning, lifted the Dark Lord of the Sith and threw him down the reactor shaft, receiving fatal injuries. He died after removing his mask and, in his son's eyes, became Anakin Skywalker once again.
