Battle of Mos Espa

The clash was the climax of the war between Fett's gotra and the Pyke Syndicate, which was seeking free trade in spice on Tatooine. The trigger was the bombing of Garsa Fwip's Sanctuary; Boba Fett was counting on reinforcements from Freetown, but the mercenary Cad Bane informed him that Marshal Cobb Vanth had been shot and also admitted that the massacre of the Tusken tribe that had sheltered Fett had been carried out by the Pykes. The three crime families that had concluded a truce with Fett stabbed him in the back: the Aqualish attacked the Mods, the Trandoshans attacked Krrsantan, and the Klatooinians wiped out the Gamorrean guards. Fennec Shand rescued the groups one after another and then headed to Mos Eisley. The arrival of the Freetown militia forced the Pykes to fall back, but Scorpenek-type annihilator droids were sent into battle: they were destroyed by Fett with the rancor, Din Djarin, and Grogu. Fett killed Bane with a gaffi stick, Grogu put the rampaging rancor to sleep with the Force, and that same night Shand eliminated the Pyke boss, Mayor Shaiz, and the dons of the three families.
