Death of Cad Bane in the streets of Mos Espa

Cad Bane sided with the Pyke Syndicate as an intermediary and enforcer. Before the battle he came to Boba Fett demanding that he give way and allow the spice trade to continue, reporting that the residents of Freetown and their marshal had already been dealt with and that no help was coming. He also admitted that it was the Pykes who had exterminated the Tusken tribe that had sheltered Fett after his escape from the sarlacc pit. The battle for Mos Espa went hard: the city's crime families broke the truce, and the Pykes brought two armored annihilator droids into action. The turning point came when the residents of Freetown arrived to help and Fett brought his rancor out of the palace. Bane appeared at the height of the fighting and drove off the beast with flamethrowers, at first gaining the upper hand over his former student. Fett managed to turn the duel around and killed the mercenary with a gaffi stick, the weapon of the Tuskens among whom he had once trained. With this the street fighting in the city ended.
