Daegen Lok

Daegen Lok trained under the Je'daii Master Kwan-Jang of the Anil Kesh temple on Tython and attained the rank of Ranger before the Despot War. In that war, which began around 25,805 BBY, he infiltrated Hadiya's army, became one of her generals and her lover, and then killed her; afterward he was granted the rank of Master.

He descended into the Abyss, a rift in the surface of Tython that drove mad all who went too deep. There he had a vision of a host of dark warriors with fiery blades. The Je'daii Council did not believe the vision and exiled him to the moon Bogan, where for seven years he gathered the power of the dark side.

Around 25,793 BBY the exile Xesh arrived on Bogan; he knew of these blades and called them forcesabers. Together they fled Tython in order to forge the weapons, but on Shikaakwa Xesh turned against him, and Lok was once again imprisoned on Bogan. He was later freed so that he could lead the Je'daii as a war commander.
