Pasaana

Pasaana is a terrestrial planet in the Middian system, part of the Ombakond sector of the Expansion Region. Its diameter was 11,135 kilometers, the local year lasted 378 standard days, the climate was arid, and the atmosphere was breathable; a single moon orbited the planet.

Beneath the deserts lay caves connected to freshwater aquifers, but the predators living there kept the locals from using too much water. On dust-grain farms they grew grasses and spores that formed the basis of the diet of the Aki-Aki, for whom the planet was a homeworld. Among the dangers listed were quicksand and sarlaccs, as well as numerous venomous insects. The Festival of the Ancestors, held on Pasaana, attracted guests from neighboring sectors.
