Exegol

Exegol is a planet in the Unknown Regions that does not appear on publicly available maps. Its surface is devoid of vegetation and constantly shaken by lightning discharges, and beneath it lie hidden the halls of an ancient Sith sanctuary with rows of stone statues and a throne.

It was impossible to plot a course to the planet by ordinary means: a special navigational artifact was required, and only two such objects existed. Because of this, the world long remained a secret even to those who sought the legacy of the Sith.

Exegol was home to adherents of the revived Sith teachings and the fleet they were building, each ship of which carried a planet-destroying weapon. Here, too, took place the battle in which the combined forces of the Resistance and the ships that came to their aid destroyed the fleet and put an end to the designs of its creators.
