First Battle of Tython

The Infinite Empire's invasion of the Tython system began around 25,793 BBY. Its forces were commanded by Predor Skal'nas, who was seeking the Infinity Gate, a device that, according to the information the Rakata possessed, was located on Tython. Advancing through the system, the empire ravaged the Settled Worlds but met resistance from the Je'daii Order and the combined forces of these worlds. Before striking Tython itself, the Rakata captured the gas giants Obri and Mawr, securing a position within the system. Then, between 25,793 and 25,792 BBY, the Infinite Empire's fleet attacked the order's planet, hoping to seize the Gate. The assault was repelled: the Je'daii drove the attackers back from Tython. Denied the chance to take its main objective, the empire shifted its attack to another world of the system and captured the forest planet Ska Gora. Skal'nas himself died on Tython in 25,792 BBY.
