Description
Ambition and family connections allowed Sal-Solo to prosper in Corellia's Imperial administration: under Diktat Dupas Thomree and his heir Daclif Gallamby, he was third in line for supreme power, something he drunkenly boasted about to Han Solo. He later headed the Human League and, during the Corellian crisis, seized Centerpoint Station, a superweapon capable of extinguishing stars; part of the Corellian space forces secretly went over to his side. Taking the Solo children hostage, he broadcast their recording throughout the system, but he was captured and placed in custody aboard a Bakuran cruiser.
During the war with the Yuuzhan Vong, he again found himself at the center of disputes over Centerpoint Station: Anakin Solo, having discussed the matter with him and with Jacen, concluded that firing the station led to the dark side. After the battle for Coruscant, Sal-Solo traveled to Yuuzhan'tar to see Supreme Overlord Shimrra and Nom Anor.
Having become Corellia's head of state, in 40 ABY he conspired with the Sith mistress Lumiya to arrange the assassination of Saxan, and he then approved a plan that unleashed full-scale war. He died at the hands of Mirta Gev, Boba Fett, and Han Solo.
