Avar Kriss

Avar Kriss was a Jedi Master of the High Republic era who trained under Cherff Maota. She perceived the Force as a song uniting all who are connected to it, and through this perception she could link the actions of many Jedi at once.

After the Great Disaster caused by the destruction of the cargo ship Legacy Run, she directed the rescue efforts in the Hetzal system, where the combined efforts of the Jedi made it possible to hold back debris heading toward inhabited worlds. She took part in the dedication of Starlight Beacon, where she addressed the galaxy with words about light and life.

She went on to hold a leading position on Starlight Beacon and fought the Nihil raiders, including confronting their leaders. After the destruction of the station, she continued to act against the Nihil in sectors of the Outer Rim cut off from the Republic.
