Uroro Station

Uroro Station is a wheel-shaped space structure held at a point of gravitational equilibrium between the gas giants Kogo and Uluq in the Maad system. The region belonged to the Inner Rim and lay within Hapan space.

The station served as a transfer hub for Hapan ships traveling the route to the mining world of Shedu Maad. When the mineral reserves there were exhausted, the planet was abandoned, and Uroro was deserted along with it.

During the Second Galactic Civil War the abandoned station was used as bait: Luke Skywalker and the Jedi Coalition placed part of the Order on it, together with younglings and instructors, in order to lure the enemy fleet and the forces of the Imperial Remnant into a trap prepared by the Hapan fleet. The plan succeeded, but after the evacuation the station was shot to pieces by long-range turbolasers and destroyed.
