Profile
The tenth planet of the Tython system, a gas giant with seven moons colonized during the Second Migration. Together with Obri, it was known among the Tythans by the common name “the Giants”. By the time the Infinite Empire invaded the Tython system, gas extraction operations were active in Mawr's atmosphere. Captured during the invasion, the planet and its moons remained under the occupiers' rule until they were driven out of the system.

Description
The tenth planet of the Tython system in the Deep Core region, a gas giant orbited by seven moons.
Together with the neighboring gas giant Obri, the planet was called “the Giants.” More than thirty-six thousand years before the Battle of Yavin, the moons of Mawr were settled by non-Force-sensitive settlers from Tython, who were advancing deeper into the system after Kalimahr, Shikaakwa, and forested Ska Gora; the outer planet Furies Gate was occupied by the same path.
By 25,793 BBY, gas mining stations were operating in the atmosphere of the planet itself.
