Pyke Syndicate

A criminal organization of Pykes that controlled the mining and trade of spice. The syndicate's headquarters was located on the planet Oba Diah, near the routes leading through the Akkadese Maelstrom.

The syndicate controlled the mining operations on Kessel, where slave labor was used, and shipped the raw material for refining. Its affairs were run by elders, and its enforcers included both its own fighters and mercenaries and bounty hunters.

During the Clone Wars the syndicate was part of the Shadow Collective assembled by Maul and took part in its operations. Later the syndicate's raw material was stolen on Kessel by Tobias Beckett's gang. The organization retained its influence in the following decades as well, doing business with other criminal organizations of the galaxy.
