Gideon's Imperial remnant

A remnant of the Imperial armed forces that remained loyal to the overthrown Empire into the New Republic era, after the Empire's collapse following the Battle of Jakku and the conclusion of the Galactic Concordance.

The formation was commanded by the warlord Moff Gideon, who directed it from an Imperial base on Mandalore. The well-armed unit hid in the Outer Rim, trying to carry out Gideon's plan to impose his own order on the galaxy. Gideon hoped to combine the achievements of cloners, Jedi, and Mandalorians and obtain an army that would subjugate the galaxy.

To this end, the remnant searched for a child named Grogu, whose blood was needed for experiments. Clashes with Din Djarin and his allies on Nevarro, and then on Mandalore, led to the formation's destruction.
