Vima Sunrider

Vima Sunrider was born in 4,000 BBY on the planet H'ratth to the Jedi Knight Andur Sunrider and his wife, Nomi; her family traced its descent through a long line of Jedi. Together with her parents and the protocol droid A-3DO, she traveled to Ambria, and after her father's death, Master Thon began training not only Nomi but also the girl herself.

Vima felt that her mother talked more than she acted, and she resented her mother's position as leader of the Jedi. Leaving in secret, she found the exile Ulic Qel-Droma on Rhen Var and persuaded him to take her on as a student. Nomi came to the citadel and demanded her daughter's return, but the training had already borne fruit: in his final moments, Qel-Droma called her a Jedi.

Vima Sunrider went on to become one of the most powerful Jedi of her time, fulfilling her teacher's hopes. Vima-Da-Boda, who was also revered in the Order, belonged to her line as well.
