Description
Malachor is a lifeless, rocky world that was closed to the Jedi for millennia. The reasons for the ban survived only in tradition: stories of what had happened here were told to initiate students at the Temple, and they formed the basis of numerous legends about the planet.
The traces of an ancient battle did not vanish with time: millennia later, the battlefield was still strewn with military wreckage, and a Sith structure remained beneath the surface. In the Imperial era, the ban and the stories connected with it were discussed by Kanan Jarrus, Ezra Bridger, and Ahsoka Tano before they set out for the planet in search of knowledge that could help them in the struggle against the Sith.
