Return of the clans to Mandalore

Mandalore was devastated during the Great Purge carried out by the Empire: after the operation known as the Night of a Thousand Tears, the planet's surface was scorched, the surviving clans scattered across the galaxy, and a belief took hold among Mandalorians that the world was poisoned and unfit for life. This could be tested only when Din Djarin descended into the underground levels of Sankt-Mandalor and confirmed that the air was breathable. Bo-Katan Kryze traveled to the dispersed factions, from Axe Woves's group to the Death Watch community under the Armorer, and brought them together in a joint campaign. The clans that landed on the planet encountered Moff Gideon's surviving Imperial base; after the destruction of his force and of the moff himself, resistance on the planet ceased. Kryze relit the fire of the Great Forge, a sign of the beginning of restoration. The return was accompanied by the acceptance of outsiders into the clans: Grogu was officially adopted by Djarin and received the name Din Grogu.
