Reactivation of Centerpoint Station

Centerpoint Station is an ancient station about three hundred fifty kilometers long and one hundred wide, exceeding the first Death Star in size. It was created by the Thuruht hive approximately one hundred thousand years before the Battle of Yavin; at the center of the structure was Glowpoint, a power source and the projector of a hypertractor capable of capturing and moving planets and stars, as well as destroying them by triggering gravitational compression of their cores. The station had already been used as a weapon during the Corellian crisis. When Thrackan Sal-Solo restarted it at a time of worsening relations between Corellia and the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances, the Corellians gained a means capable of destroying fleets and entire worlds across interstellar distances. The task of neutralizing the structure was given to the Jedi. The operation to destroy Centerpoint Station involved Jacen Solo and Ben Skywalker, as well as other Jedi, including Valin Horn, who infiltrated the facility disguised as a soldier of the Galactic Alliance Guard.
