Dagonet

Dagonet spent nearly all his time on Coruscant and took no interest in how his constituents lived: their situation was dire, but they could not replace their senator. When his son Uriel was kidnapped on Wayyl, the Jedi Dooku and his Padawan Qui-Gon Jinn arrived on the planet and discovered that the kidnappers were local residents who had banded together in protest against the senator's rule, and that Uriel himself shared their views.

Dagonet arrived after them with his soldiers and demanded that the people be punished, opening fire on them to intimidate the rest. He ordered the shooting stopped only when Uriel stepped between the soldiers and the townspeople. Enraged by the senator's cruelty, Dooku used a Force choke; Qui-Gon tried to intervene but was thrown back, and only together with the senator's son did he manage to save Dagonet from death. Uriel promised to help the residents, after which both left the planet on a speeder. The senator wore a white uniform and a helmet resembling those of his soldiers and was armed with a blaster pistol.
